Hey, everyone! I need to ask for your opinion and feedback on this:
I received an email about a program called Genesis that talked about people making hundreds their first week and thousands their first month. Since most of my subscribers are Internet savvy and have had lots of experiences with scams and legitimate opportunities, I thought that everyone would benefit by getting your input. The two URLs to check out are:

http://www.2x2cycler.com and
http://www.genesis2x2.com/show/matrix.htm
Or you can call this toll-free number: 1-800 206-7865

After you've checked this out, would you please send me your opinion and feedback about the Genesis program? If I've received email about it, chances are many of you have also, and we can take the consensus of opinion and feedback from everyone and maybe come up with a pro or con recommendation for this program.

Smile!

If you enjoy this ezine, you can help it grow faster by introducing 'elf Expressions to just one other person—because the faster we grow, the more everyone benefits from the ads. Thank you!

TODAY'S CHUCKLE

Know someone who's got that cold/flu bug that's making the rounds? You know, the one that makes you cough so bad that you try to figure out how to get nicotine into your body without actually inhaling smoke? Well, pass this along with a "Get Well Soon!"

John was a clerk in a small drugstore, but he was not much of a salesman. He could never find the item the customer wanted. Bob, the owner, had had about enough and warned John that the next sale he missed would be his last.

Just then a man came in coughing and asked John for their best cough syrup. Try as he might, John could not find the cough syrup. Remembering Bob's warning, he sold the man a box of Ex-Lax and told him to take it all at once. The customer did as John said and then walked outside and leaned against a lamppost.

Bob had seen the whole thing and came over to ask John what had transpired. "He wanted something for his cough, but I couldn't find the cough syrup. I substituted Ex-Lax and told him to take it all at once," John explained. "Ex-Lax won't cure a cough!" Bob shouted angrily. "Sure it will," John said, pointing at the man leaning on the lamppost. "Look at him. He's afraid to cough!"

The Goal

If you think success—success has begun;
If you think you can win, your battle is won!
Whatevver you need you can have, you'll find:
It's all in the way you set your mind.

If you feel that your part in the world is small,
You may never achieve your work at all;
But feel that your life, of God's life is a part—
Then you'll work in the way you have st your heart.

If you know you are great, you will do great things;
Your thoughts will soar on eagle's wings;
Your life will reach its destined goal,
If you know the way to set your soul.

—Katherine Wilder Ruggles

TODAY'S ENGLISH LESSON

Seeing the same elementary mistakes over and over again has prompted this publisher to write an English lesson each issue.

Here is an example of very poor form:

"Can you do that, not me?"

This is much better:

"Can you do that? Not me!"

We'll address the usage issue first, which would call for "I" instead of "me" at the end; however, the above form has been adopted for common usage. It just seems to be more "user friendly." "Not I!" still would be reserved for formal usage.

Note: To test the form of usage, insert the subject before the verb: "I can't" (not "Me can't")!

As to the punctuation used in the cited example, it is wholly wrong! In "Can you do that, not me?" the question falls after "that," NOT after "me"! "Not me" addresses the question, and by putting the question mark at the appropriate place and using an exclamation point after that two-word sentence, emphasis is added effectively and efficiently.

See? Elementary English is VERY simple! You just have to pay attention. Understanding the explanation will prevent you from making ignorant mistakes.

Then take this honey from the bitterest cup,
There is no failure save in giving up—
No real fall so long as one still tries—
For seeming set-backs make the strong man wise.
There's no defeat, in truth, save from within:
Unless you're beaten there, you're sure to win.

GUEST ARTICLE

10 Passion Principles to Creating the Rest of Your Life

©2000 Julie Jordan Scott

1. Take passionate action towards living your life by design. Talk is cheap. Action = deposits in the bank of a passionately authentic future. Without it, passion is void.

2. Commit to yourself as well as to those you love to create powerfully a life you can love. Instead of reacting, commit to creating from your heart and soul out of love, rather than fear. Be amazed as the transformation begins.

3. Recognize and embrace the thought that each moment is perfect regardless of its outcome. If you are not pleased with the outcome, decide to use that moment to learn from and make the appropriate shift.

4. Dwell completely in a place of gratitude. Slipping into neediness will become less of a habit when you repeatedly shift towards gratitude, away from poverty consciousness.

5. Use a Passion Formula of Recognize/Re-review-uate/Restore in place of the Shoulda/Woulda/Coulda whirlwind. The former is based in increased knowledge and abundance, while the latter focuses on scarcity and lack. You would rather be richly passionate!

6. Keep humor at the forefront of thought, laughing at and with yourself when possible. You may find yourself quite entertaining when you loosen up! Humor is very attractive, very passionate, life-giving.

7. Trust that you are in the right place at the right time to learn whatever lessons you are meant to be learning. Become a part of a community of people where you can express from the heart and embrace each other's dreams and life philosophy. Know that you will be honored as you honor one another.

8. When emotions arise, flow with them. Take time out to be fully in the moment. This will model for children and your colleagues what it means to be authentically engaged in life, no matter what is dished out. The freedom for you AND those whose lives you touch will amaze you.

9. Be strongly vulnerable in connecting with people core to core instead of superficially. Replace backing away behavior with drawing close behavior. Practice interdependency for the strength of synergy, rather than the weakness of self indulgence.

10. Believe that you are the architect of your destiny. No one can take your passionate future from you except for you! Create your life authentically. Watch everything flow into place with perfect, passionate precision.

INSPIRATION

Do you accept the Power within,
Or do you say—'"Tomorrow,
Or after that, I will begin,"
And try from time to time to borrow
Sweet, precious moments, quickly sped,
On futile paths by error led?

Our God has willed a legacy
To all of those believing.
So why not change your "it might be"
To just "I am receiving
A guiding hand in every task,
And full returns for all I ask."

Do you desire success to win?
Humbly accept the Power within.

—John Graham
